I'm back to thinking about future Carl & Junior episodes, I've been brainstorming new characters for the series and thinking about how I'll introduce them and the plot of whatever comic/episode they'll be in. It's tough stuff, but I've got ideas in mind and I just gotta figure out how to piece them together. Bear with me!!

The series is postponed since I'm working on a large collaborative project as of now, but FEAR NOT!! This does NOT mean I'm abandoning the series, no sir, I've got comic ideas on the backburner I have yet to follow through with, so don't go anywhere!! Carl & Junior are quite busy themselves anyways, I think Carl is building a model airplane while Junior's trying to beat some video game, but as tied up with their own hobbies as they are, they aren't going anywhere either, so just sit tight and stay tuned :}

After my next animation I'm gonna be looking into taking a class for something and/or putting together a suitable resume, maybe even look into getting my own bank account, something or other, because I need money and an education, but even if it's not on this platform specifically I'll still keep up with posting content so no worries 🤸‍♂️

Ah yes, Steve Whatzit, the character we all saw only once previously has gotten a redesign, one that makes him a bit more proportionate while retaining that visible "charm" of his. Not exactly a "charming" charm, but a "I wouldn't want this guy any other way" charm. He doesn't aim to charm anybody really, as he's not exactly a people person. He'd rather make himself a peanut butter bagel with that delicious natural refrigerated peanut butter than be gushy or suck up to anybody.

To make a long story short, I changed his legs because the other ones I gave him were getting complicated to draw. Will he show up in my next animation? Even I'm still trying to figure that out, but stay tuned!

Expect some cool new content in the future once i actually make the storyboards for it

I was so amped to see that my animation got 5th place on the daily picks :D That's awesome people appreciate my stuff universally in some way ehehe, to celebrate you guys can check out the storyboards I did months before actually making the animation:

Before Steve Whatzit existed, it was gonna be a Steve Jobs lookalike until I realized I didn't wanna animate that, so I made another funny creature to fit with the other two designs

One thing you'll notice in storyboards is that lot gets changed, removed or added, and this is considering storyboards are the basic layout for it before it's actually animated, like a rough draft you can easily tweak, and I wanna get better at doing these in future and look at the finished animation like "Huh, wow, I did that! Partially, but...wow!"

I was remembering the lyrics from memory here, but after rewatching it maybe 50 times over I'll never forget it pfhaha

One fun fact before I go: I was initially gonna have the backgrounds rotate, but I just couldn't achieve that in flash unless I gave it one continuous background, but one day there'll be rotating backgrounds, as I'm perfecting my craft Rotating Backgrounds will be a skill I'll come to acquire. Maybe i'll just get lazy and just green screen the animation and rotate them in Sony Vegas, but...we'll see!!

Went back to working on the animation again since I'm also gonna submit it as a school project, here's a quick reference i scrawled up during lunch of a new character that makes a 2 second appearance by the name of Steve Whatzit (He looks better in the animation so far I can assure you)
